Terms of Service

Last updated: 13 May 2026

By using TranscriptGrab you agree to these terms. They are intentionally short. If something feels unclear, email us — we would rather explain than hide behind legalese.

1. The service

TranscriptGrab extracts transcripts from public videos and uses AI to generate written content from them. We may add, change, or remove features at any time. Pricing changes apply only to future billing periods, never retroactively.

2. Your account

You sign in with Google. You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure. One person per account; do not share credentials. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use TranscriptGrab to:

We may remove generated content and suspend accounts that breach these rules.

4. Your content

You own everything you generate. We claim no ownership over your transcripts, generated posts, or Brand Voice profiles. We store them only so the service works. You can delete any item from your library at any time.

5. Third-party content

The videos you submit belong to whoever made them. You are responsible for ensuring your use of generated content (publishing, repurposing, monetising) complies with the source platform's terms and any applicable copyright laws.

6. Payments and refunds

7. AI disclaimer

Generated content is produced by large language models. It may contain inaccuracies, factual errors, or phrasing you would not endorse. Always review generated content before publishing. We are not liable for content you choose to publish.

8. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may schedule maintenance, and third-party providers (Google, Stripe, video platforms) may have outages outside our control.

9. Termination

You can close your account at any time. We can suspend or close accounts that violate these terms. On termination we will delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to TranscriptGrab is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Nothing in these terms excludes consumer guarantees you have under the Australian Consumer Law (or equivalent in your jurisdiction) that cannot be lawfully excluded.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Disputes are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of Australian courts.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. If we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
